As the Executive Director of the Plumas Arts Commission, you will step into a pivotal role that calls for a dynamic and visionary leader to shape the cultural landscape of our community. Your primary responsibility will be to steer the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring the successful implementation of diverse arts programs and grants that enrich and inspire.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight:
- Drive the development, execution, and enhancement of a wide range of arts programs, fostering creativity and cultural enrichment within the community.
- Implement innovative initiatives that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a dynamic and ever-evolving arts landscape.
Grant Management:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of grant programs, securing funding to support artistic endeavors and community projects.
- Cultivate relationships with funding agencies and donors to expand financial support for the arts in our community.
People Management:
- Provide visionary leadership to a talented team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and mentor staff, ensuring their professional growth and maximizing their potential to contribute to the organization's success.
Financial Management:
- Oversee the organization's financial health, developing and managing budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
- Implement sound financial practices to optimize resource allocation and maximize the impact of arts programs.
Community Engagement:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the board of directors, artists, community leaders, and stakeholders.
- Act as a passionate advocate for the arts, fostering partnerships that enhance the visibility and impact of the Plumas Arts Commission.
Vision and Leadership:
- Set a compelling vision for the organization's future, inspiring stakeholders and driving strategic initiatives that advance the mission of the Plumas Arts Commission.
- Serve as a visible and influential leader in the arts community, representing the organization with passion and credibility.

$66,650 - $70,616 annual salary with additional monthly benefits stipend

The Town Hall Theatre is accepting applications for Clerk

Town Hall Theatre Clerk positions are scheduled for 1.5 hours per day between the hours of 6- 7:30pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and
3-4:30pm on Sunday.
Applications from persons 15 years or older, with appropriate work permits, will be considered.
A desirable applicant possesses good math and verbal communication skills, reliability and honesty, and an affinity for cleaning bathrooms, floors and work areas. A commitment to a work schedule and dress code is required.

School age applicants are requested to address any after school commitments and their availability during the movie times schedule, and provide a completed and work permit if hired.
This is a minimum wage position. Applications open until filled.
